Manic Depression.

Strings of white splattered,
A stark contrast of brightness
Against the existing dark
Of the pitch black paint.
There was nearly no grey.

Bright flames flickered,
Mitigating the blinding night.
A sudden light of day
Destroyed the endless abyss.
There was no dawn, neither dusk.

There existed very little
Of a balanced vacuum.
There was no neutral
To soothe the extremities of
The manic fervor that shook her.
