Stardust.

The weather is cold
But my heart is warmed.
A mug of hot chocolate
And a book in hand,
As I sit by the fireplace
While the music plays, soothing chords.
The shining stars are mitigated
By the bright winter moon. Snowflakes adorn the trees
Like diamonds strewn about.
My snowglobe lay on the shelf,
The Santa inside smiling,
For Christmas is around the corner.
The season of joy and lights;
Where eyes twinkle and
Smiles are bright.
I give the globe a shake
And the snowy glitter starts falling,
Like stardust, as it catches
The light and reflects it,
Like powdered silver.
